Mar. 4: Spring Weather Outlook
They say March weather can be either a lion or a lamb.  It's an adage cattlemen know all too well.  Some producers are hoping for a mild spring calving season while others will gladly take any moisture they can get.  And of course cattle feeders are keeping a watchful eye on those spring planting conditions.  We have more on the spring weather outlook from Cattle Fax Meteorologist Dr. Art Douglas.

Mar. 4: Charles Miller on Kentucky and Premises Registration
In central Kentucky, you'll find Charles Miller.  He's a cattleman that backgrounds about 2,000 head of stocker cattle a year.  NCBA's Cattlemen to Cattlemen had a chance to spend a day in the life of Charles Miller and learn more about the cattle business in Kentucky.  The Miller family says they've seen a considerable change in the Kentucky cattle business and have found premises registration to be a valuable tool for their operation.  To learn more about how to register your premises, visit: usda.gov/nais.
